While we are having some spotty showers forecast for every day through the weekend, weather permitting we will have our Front Porch picking this Saturday. The picking is from 2 – 4 p.m. and while we’ve played under cloudy skies we’ve yet to be rained out. We have been working hard talking with people to gain support for our BIG Front Porch Picking in October. You can go to over Events page of this website and get the line up. We have some really great traditional music performers and Storytellers who will be there. The part that seems to get the biggest attention is these artists will be not only performing on the main stage, but spending the day on the “Front Porch” of the Belton Depot storytelling. They have such a rich history of performing with the traditional country music greats around the country, and the world. They will be able to share a little bit of their lives through the day, as well as answer your questions. This is true to our Mission at TCMA Upstate – to educate in an interactive and entertaining way.
